Copycat...

So, if you don't like icky stuff, just post a comment to that effect and you'll not be grossed out by my blog!

Wanna know all about Blepharitis? Click the link! Really. I went for a routine dentist appointment and since I was in town, I decided to drop by my eye doctor. I like her personally and as my Dr. I can just drop in and she can take care of me right away, no appointment!

Let's back up. I've never had allergies that affected my eyes. But that's exactly what my eyes have felt like for about a week. One day one eye is glued shut. The next day, the other one has a turn. It's a gooey glue, and only begins at night. I thought it would clear up if I washed them with warm water and kept my fingers out of them. Nope.

So, within minutes, Dr. has glanced at my eyes, listened to my complaint and handed me a box with eye cleaner that I have to use twice a day for the next week to clear this problem up. Apparently it can get really nasty and I don't want that. I need to be able to read to my boys! She also said that under no circumstances should I use baby shampoo. Then she explained why: We don't keep the bottle/solution sterile.

Did I tell you I love my eye doctor? Really, I do. If you are looking for a good eye Dr. let me know!

So what was in the box or more specifically, what is in the "eye cleaner"?

I don't know. I can't read it because I haven't put in my contact yet! Wait.

Deionized water, Peg-80, sorbitan laurate, sodium trideceth sulfate, peg-150 distearate, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, lauroamphocarboxglycinate, sodium laureth-13 carboxylate, peg-15 tallow polyamine, quaternium-15.

Probably the same as baby shampoo, but diluted and in a container that I won't use for my kids or dogs.

Who is your eye doctor? I haven't seen one in over a year. Do you actually have allergies, or is it something else?
